MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Saint Bernard/Bernese Mountain dog running loose near Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital for months was captured by a hospital employee and an animal rescue group just days before a major winter storm is expected to move through the area.
Lauren Wages, a registered nurse at LeBonheur, had made it her mission to rescue the skittish stray that had been hanging around the staff parking lot looking for food.
