Law enforcement agents in Memphis were busy on Tuesday, arresting 40 people and taking six illegal firearms off the street. The operation was part of the Memphis Safe Task Force’s ongoing effort to reduce crime in the city.
One of the main arrests involved 40-year-old Mario Pierre Jackson. Officers found him at a hotel on Breedlove Street. Jackson was wanted on several warrants, including burglary and theft.
