Memphis women accused of TennCare fraud for falsifying time records

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three Memphis women are facing TennCare fraud charges after allegedly submitting fraudulent time records, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) said in a news release Monday morning.

Lakesha Adine Albright, 42, Erika Humphreys, 36, and 36-year-old Yosha Fletcher have been charged with one-count of TennCare fraud and theft of services.

TBI said Albright, Humphreys, and Fletcher all provided in-home care to the same disabled TennCare member. And from January 2022 to June 2024, TBI reported that the three women submitted false time records and received pay for hours they did not work.

On January 21, Albright was booked into the Shelby County Jail. And on January 23, Fletcher and Humphreys were taken into custody…
