DESOTO COUNTY, Miss. — Homeowners in one Olive Branch neighborhood say this is the worst snow accumulation they’ve ever seen in Mississippi, but there’s one thing that’s keeping them optimistic as they wait for this wintery mix to clear up.
“Everything’s good, it is pretty good out here, other than that, I haven’t heard any complaints,” said George Jackson, an Olive Branch resident.

“We haven’t had any problems so far, thank God,” said Gerald Potts, another Olive Branch resident.
In past winter storms, residents throughout Olive Branch remember the impact not just on the roads, but also on the gas pressure needed to warm their homes. But this year, they say it’s different. The biggest concerns are outside their front doors.
