MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A significant amount of snow in the Memphis area is keeping drivers off the roadways and even damaging homes.
A woman in Frayser said her car was nearly crushed when her carport collapsed under the weight of snow and ice. The carport collapsed right on top of the vehicle.
The car’s owner did not want to be identified but told WREG she was about to go to the carport to feed some cats under her house when the carport came down.
She says she’s still trying to process everything that happened…
