11 MSCS buildings suffer damage in winter storm

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis-Shelby County Schools says Wednesday that there have been what the district called “minor issues” at 11 of its locations.

The district says the issues were the result of frozen sprinkler heads, drinking fountain tanks, HVAC coils and frozen domestic lines. It says remediation and cleanup is either in progress or already completed at all 11 locations.

FOX13 has asked MSCS which locations have been affected. We have not yet gotten a response…
