Brothers charged with carjacking woman in North Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two brothers are now in jail after police say they carjacked a woman who was sitting in the passenger seat of her friend’s car on Wednesday evening.

Officers say they were called to a carjacking in the 800 block of Maple Drive a little before 5:30 p.m.

A man told police that two men stole his truck from the driveway and that his female friend was in the front passenger seat when the carjacking took place. He says he was inside the home when he heard the truck revving.
