MEMPHIS, Tenn. – FOX13 investigates is getting answers after some Memphis voters said their registration information had disappeared from a state website. The state says it was a technical issue that’s been resolved.
Tuesday evening Rep. Torrey Harris (D-Memphis) posted on Facebook about hearing from constituents who got an error when using the Tennessee Voter Registration Lookup tool online (https://tnmap.tn.gov/voterlookup/). Harris wrote that he had reached out to Secretary of State Tre Hargett, who oversees voter rolls in the state. Later in the evening Rep. Harris said Hargett had told him things were back in working order.
