MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Impact Baptist Church and Ministries held a free food giveaway Saturday after the winter storm kept many families home for days.
The first 100 families were handed free groceries.
Church leaders say they usually hold this food ministry the second and fourth Saturdays, but added this weekend because of the storm’s impact on families and children who’ve been out of school.
