Memphis man attacks, shoots at woman he met through online dating service, records show

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A man was arrested last week after he allegedly attacked and opened fire on a woman he met on social media, records show.

Records show that Andre Jackson, 27, of Memphis, is facing kidnapping and rape charges. According to his arrest affidavit, the charges stemmed from a Feb. 1 meeting he and a woman agreed to after they met on the Facebook Dating service.

Court documents allege that “once the male arrived” at her apartment, he pulled out a gun, hit her in the face with it and attacked her. The woman got away and tried to wrestle the gun from her attacker. That was when the man, later identified as Jackson, fired twice…
