MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A Memphis man is behind bars after being found with over 100 images of child sexual abuse material.
According to court documents, 48-year-old Michael Francis is accused of uploading over 100 files depicting prepubescent minors either engaging in sexual behavior or posing in a sexual manner.
The investigation began when Memphis Police received 43 complaints from Google that were forwarded through the CyberTipline by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC). NCMEC reported that based on IP address analysis, the user who uploaded these files was believed to be located in the Memphis metro area.
