MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An East Memphis woman says she’s been waiting for a month for a pile of trash bags to be removed from her home along Getwell near Stuart.
She said Tuesday a sanitation crew emptied her trash can but left the rest of the garbage on the curb.
“We call the city, and we call the city, and they say they’re behind and we’ll get to us,” she said.
Earlier this week, a man in a northeast Memphis neighborhood told WREG that there were more bags of trash on the curb than people in his house.
“For the trash to be up and we are paying for it, make it make sense to us,” he said…
