MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two men were injured Saturday evening in Whitehaven after police say the two were involved in a fight over a video game.
Officers were on the scene of a separate call, when they were flagged down by someone at the Oakwood Meadows Estates in the 4500 block of Airways Blvd and led officers to the victim.
The victim told police, he and the suspect were inside an apartment playing a video game. The victim told officers he had won the game and the suspect turned irate.

The suspect began a physical fight with the victim and brought out a handgun, and tried to shoot the victim, according to police. The victim said he grabbed the gun, but the struggle continued until gunfire hit both the victim and the suspect.
Police say the suspect fled in a gray Nissan Altima, where he was later dropped off at Methodist South hospital with gunshot wounds.
