MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An 18-year-old is charged with murder after police say a Hickory Hill gun sale turned into a violent robbery, double shooting, and homicide.
Braylyn Coleman is charged with first-degree murder in perpetration of robbery, attempted first-degree murder and employment of a firearm during a dangerous felony.
On Feb. 5, police responded to a shooting call a little before 6 p.m. in the 3000 block of Moriah Run off Mount Moriah Extended, where they found about 45 shell casings and live rounds.
Woman killed in Shelby County shooting; another woman charged
The victim, Travis Holt, was struck multiple times. He was taken by private vehicle to St. Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say video footage showed Holt and another man talking to Coleman in a parking lot. Coleman then drew a weapon and fired multiple shots at the other two. All three people ran in different directions…
