MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis mother is going to prison for 17 and a half years for abusing her four-year-old son, according to the Shelby Co. District Attorney’s Office.DaJuana Brown Thomas pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated child abuse under the age of eight.
Police say her son was kept in isolation for nine months and the inside doorknob of his room was removed.
