Road rage suspect arrested after shooting into car on Collierville highway, police say

COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. – A 29-year-old man was arrested after he shot up a car Tuesday morning during a road rage incident on a highway in Collierville, police said.

The Collierville Police Department (CPD) said it happened around 7:15 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 385 near Highway 72. Officers arrived and talked to the other driver, who said he was shot at but not injured, police said.

CPD said officers were able to catch up to the suspected shooter because there was a crash ahead of them on the highway — causing the gunman to slow down. It led to his arrest, police said…
