Memphis non-profit founder charged with domestic assault

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The director of a Memphis non-profit was arrested on a domestic assault charge earlier this week.

Jail records show that Larry Hunter, founder and director of Touched by an Angel, was booked into the Shelby County Jail on Monday. According to court records, the 64-year-old has been charged with aggravated assault and domestic assault.

Hunter has since posted a $45,000 bond. He was released from jail on Wednesday…
