Gun goes off in convenience store, customer shot in the leg

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two people are wanted after a man dropped his handgun inside a Raleigh convenience store on Saturday and accidentally shot a customer in the leg, Memphis Police say.

On Feb. 21, around 6:50 p.m., officers responded to the shooting in the 4500 block of Stage Road.

MPD was told that the victim was standing at the counter when a male wearing a gray True Religion jacket walked behind her, armed with a handgun.
