SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. — A man who was charged in the murder of a 2-year-old has been booked into the Shelby County jail, records show.
The U.S. Marshals Service announced Tuesday that Robert Newton, 35, was arrested a day earlier in the Tennessee town of Ashland City. He had been on the run since Feb. 17.
