MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are looking for a woman they say left behind ten dead kittens, four dead cats, and three dead snakes after being evicted from a Whitehaven house Wednesday night.
MPD and MAS were called to the 5200 block of Lochinvar Drive for a case of animal cruelty after a Shelby County eviction officer discovered the dead kittens in a portable deep freezer and the dead snakes in the front yard while evicting the tenant.
The eviction officer said the suspect also loaded 20 live cats into a U-Haul and fled the scene before officers arrived.
