Gov. Bill Lee designates March Keep Tennessee Beautiful Month; March 12 is official celebration event

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 27, 2026) – Gov. Bill Lee has once again designated March as Keep Tennessee Beautiful Month. The spring initiative spotlights KTnB’s litter programs including the launch of Tennessee’s Greatest American Cleanup, leading up to America’s 250th.

To celebrate the kick-off, KTnB will host a rally and awards luncheon from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. CDT, March 12, at Beale Street Landing in Memphis, Tenn.

The launch of Keep Tennessee Beautiful Month unites volunteers, partners, and communities across the state to make Tennessee cleaner, greener, and more beautiful. Tennessee’s Greatest American Cleanup, in cooperation with Keep America Beautiful’s nation-wide initiative, encourages volunteer participation through July 4, 2026, when America turns 250.
