A man has been arrested for child abduction in Rockingham County. According to the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were contacted on Monday in reference to a missing female juvenile from Memphis, Tn.
The female juvenile was reported missing on Sunday March 1, by her parents to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee. Deputies with the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office were able to locate the missing female juvenile at 3921 US 311 in Stoneville on Monday.
The juvenile was accompanied by 27-year-old male Dakota Wayne Vettor of the same address. The juvenile was questioned in regard to her being reported missing and the Rockingham County Department of Social Services was contacted, as was the Rockingham County District Attorney’s Office.
