A Collierville Police Officer is on administrative leave after being arrested following a domestic violence incident taking place in Fayette County, Tennessee.
Deputies arrived at Lakeview Drive on a domestic dispute at around 2:30 a.m. Monday, where they spoke with a woman who told officers that she and her boyfriend, Officer David Haley, got into a fight following an argument. She went further to tell officers that after a first argument that ended in a “physical altercation”, Haley left the residence before returning, at which point, he tried to get the woman to leave and attempted to pull her out of the bed, according to an affidavit.
Both Haley and his girlfriend told officers that they punched with closed fists; however, according to the affidavit, only the woman had physical scars from the incident, with the left side of her face described as “swollen” in the affidavit…
