MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Safe Task Force has increased the reward for information leading to the capture of Danell Maxwell to $32,500, following an additional $30,000 contribution.
Maxwell, 40, of Memphis, is wanted in connection with the Feb. 26 shooting of a Memphis Police Department officer during a traffic stop. An arrest warrant was issued Feb. 28 charging him with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault, and employment of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
