MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police have arrested a woman they say threatened employees at two Binghampton businesses with a butcher knife Friday morning before fleeing to a nearby neighborhood.
Kimly Lightfoot, 45, who has a lengthy criminal record, was booked in Shelby County Jail and is facing charges of aggravated assault.
According to police, at around 11 a.m., a woman later identified as Lightfoot entered the Simmons Bank in the 500 block of Tillman Street and demanded to use the phone while holding a butcher knife.
The bank manager said he told Lightfoot to leave, and that’s when she stated, while holding the knife, “I’ll kill you, motherf*****.”…
