MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Family has identified the man who was killed in a shooting near the Nutbush area in North Memphis on Sunday afternoon.
Police say officers responded to the shooting just before 1 p.m. in the 3300 block of Buchanan Avenue, near Jackson Avenue.
Investigators say they found a male victim and pronounced him dead on the scene.
Your News Leader crews watched the victim’s car being towed away from the scene—with the body still inside—as a large crime scene unfolded with officers from various law enforcement agencies.
