West Memphis woman receives five years’ probation in Medicaid fraud case

West Memphis, Ark. (KATV) — A West Memphis woman has been sentenced to a five-year term of probation for her role in Medicaid Fraud, in an announcement made by Attorney General Tim Griffin on Friday, March 6.

Kimberly Rios, 40, was found guilty of her role in improperly billing Medicaid for services she never provided. She was convicted of one count of Medicaid fraud, which is a Class B felony.

Included in her sentence, Rios has to pay a $500 fine with additional court fees, and restitution which amounts to $11,317.25…
