MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The founder of Wing Guru has pleaded no contest to charges of tax evasion and theft of property, according to a statement on the company Facebook page.
Billy Richmond Jr. announced the information in a statement on Thursday. In that statement, he said that Wing Guru employed certain professionals to manage their financial reporting and sales accounts.
“I accept responsibility and accountability for not overseeing the reports,” Richmond Jr. said in the post. “Again, I maintain that I did not intentionally or willfully misreport or falsify any financial documents; however, my lack of oversight makes me responsible as the owner.”…
