Woman charged with murder gets $499,999 bond

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Bond was set Wednesday in the case of an 18-year-old woman charged with first-degree murder.

Investigators say Alishon Torres admitted to fatally shooting 58-year-old Noe Santillan Rincon for what he allegedly did to her family member.

Due to the severity of the charges and the suspect’s age, Judge Sheila Renfroe set the bond at $499,999, because that specific amount allows Torres to receive counseling and rehabilitation services in jail.
