Arrest made in 3-store robbery spree after tipster identifies suspect

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A man has been taken into custody in connection with three robberies after a tipster identified him.

The first incident happened on January 22 at the Family Dollar on Getwell Road, where a man entered the store, took money from the cash register, and threatened to shoot the clerk if she moved.

The incident was captured on the store’s camera, and photos of the suspect were released on social media to help identify him.
