MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A man who has been charged with aggravated assault on law enforcement after allegedly hitting a member of the National Guard on Beale Street Saturday has been indicted before for assaulting a first responder.
Court documents show that Deangelo Smith was charged with two counts aggravated assault on law enforcement after he allegedly hit a National Guardsmen while on Beale Street Saturday night; however, this was not the first instance in which Smith has faced charges related to attacking a first responder.
