Tulips Restaurant and Bar, an Indian-Mexican fusion concept, is gearing up to land in the Southwind retail strip on Winchester Road in East Memphis. The owners say the restaurant will marry Indian spices with Mexican-style dishes and aim for a more polished mix of dining and nightlife than the typical takeout joint. If the buildout stays on track, the spot could become one of the larger new arrivals along that busy corridor.
According to What Now, Tulips is slated to occupy about 5,600 square feet at 7825 Winchester Road, suite 122, with an occupant load of 188.
