Woman Charged With Attempted First-Degree Murder After Stabbing Man at North Memphis Grocery Store

MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE — A 43-year-old woman is being held on a $250,000 bond after police say she stabbed a man multiple times outside a North Memphis grocery store on Sunday afternoon.

Brenda Richelle Colbert has been charged with criminal attempt first-degree murder, according to the Memphis Police Department.

Stabbing Reported at B-52 Market on Hollywood Street

Officers responded just minutes after noon on March 15 to reports of an aggravated assault in the 1200 block of Hollywood Street at B-52 Market.
