MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was critically injured and a woman was shot in the leg during two shootings in Downtown Memphis late Friday evening, according to police.
MPD says they responded to the area of B.B. King and Peabody Place around 11:15 p.m.
WREG crews saw several Memphis Police Department vehicles, as well as a large response from the National Guard. Streets were blocked in the area to vehicle traffic.
