SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (WMC/Gray News) – A Mississippi woman is facing charges after her daughter’s remains were found in an apartment, authorities said.
Cynthia Clemons, 40, was taken into custody and charged with abuse of a vulnerable adult and tampering with evidence.
Police said Tuesday that officers were called to an apartment complex around 9:35 p.m. for a welfare check after a man reported he had not seen his sister since January.
