Three charged with assaulting Memphis Police officers

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three men are accused of fighting with officers in Downtown Memphis, according to the Memphis Police Department.

Police say the suspects were fighting with MPD at the corner of Second and Beale Streets on Friday night.

The three suspects—21-year-old Jermiah Rucker, 19-year-old Christopher Rucker, and 20-year-old Jamal Hines—are all charged with assaulting a law enforcement officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

According to jail records, all three are being held at the Shelby County Jail without bond.
