Screwdriver-Wielding Suspect Shoves Vape Shop Worker in Southaven Heist Flop

A Southaven vape shop worker was shoved to the ground and left with minor injuries after a man armed with what police say was a screwdriver tried to rob the business Sunday, then bolted empty-handed toward Swinnea Road. The employee ran from the store as the suspect went behind the counter and chased them toward the street before taking off to the west. Investigators are canvassing the neighborhood and are asking nearby residents and businesses to help identify the man.
