Mother accused of hiding missing daughter’s remains granted bond

DESOTO COUNTY, Miss. (WMC) – A DeSoto County woman accused of hiding her daughter’s remains appeared in court Wednesday, March 25.

Cynthia Clemons, 40, is charged with abuse of a vulnerable adult and tampering with evidence after her daughter’s remains were found inside her Southaven apartment.

Prior to the discovery of the remains, the daughter was reported missing by her sibling, who claimed that she hadn’t been seen for months.
