A new Pizza Hut is under construction near the Austin Peay Highway and Yale Road intersection.
Located at 3555 Austin Peay behind Tropical Smoothie Cafe, the new restaurant is in the early stages of construction, with a plywood exterior visible as of early April. Like most new Pizza Hut locations, the 1,695-square-foot restaurant will offer delivery and carryout only, according to a permit filed with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development.
Pizza Hut already has a location off Austin Peay just 1.4 miles north of the new location. It is unclear if that location will remain open or be replaced by the new one…
