MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Millington student killed in Tuesday’s senior skip day shooting at Shelby Farms has been identified by family friends as Coriuan Bean.
Friendship Memphis church said in a Facebook post that Bean’s father and grandmother were church members, and the church was deeply impacted by his death.

“In this time of profound sorrow, we also stand in prayer with his mother, siblings, and all who loved Coriuan. May God’s peace, comfort, and strength surround the family and all who mourn this loss,” the church wrote.
