WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. — A teacher was arrested Wednesday after an incident involving a student at a West Memphis junior high school, police said.
According to the West Memphis Police Department, officers were called Wednesday to Wonder Junior High School for “an incident.” Police said investigators reviewed security video showing that a teacher — later identified as Tracey Matthews — was involved.
Records show that Matthews was arrested Wednesday for aggravated assault.
