Felon accused of stealing keys from gym locker, drives off with car

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Shelby County Sheriff’s Office deputies said that a man was able to steal a gym bag at a Lakeland health club along with a set of car keys and drive off with a member’s vehicle on Monday.

Michael Price, 31, was charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, theft of property $10,000-$60,000, and theft of property (firearm, $1,000-$2,500).

On April 20, deputies responded to a report of a stolen 2018 Chevrolet Camaro at ATC Fitness in the 2900 block of Canada Road.

SCSO said a vehicle owner reported that a gym bag that had their keys, a handgun, and personal items was stolen from a locker inside the gym.
