Gun violence is down. They helped make that happen

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — His brother was shot and killed. His cousin was sentenced to 28 years.One South Memphis man said it caused him to re-evaluate his life and join forces with those working to make a difference.

“I was born in South Memphis. Raised in South Memphis,” Jeremy Williams said. “As I grew up, I became a victim to the society of the neighborhood. I seen so many of my friends and family members, they were incarcerated or dead.”
