MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Following a string of complaints over long lines at the Memphis Zoo on April 17, the Memphis Zoo says it did not overbook.
Of concern was a number of school groups visiting the zoo. While Friday is a popular day for school groups, the zoo said the bookings were within its capacity limits.
Long lines had traffic blocking Poplar Avenue in the morning hours, spawning a number of complaints shared with Action News 5, calling the situation “unacceptable.”…
