The shooting scare comes on the heels of several violent incidents in Parkway Village. The neighborhood has seen multiple shootings in recent weeks, including an April 16 triple shooting that left one person dead, as reported by the Daily Memphian. Earlier this week, local TV crews covered a shots-fired call at an Express Mart on Knight Arnold Road, according to Action News 5. The string of incidents has left residents and investigators uneasy as police step up patrols in the area.
