JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) — A 38-year-old North Mississippi man was arrested and charged with grooming of a child in connection with an incident in Vancleave, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
Justin Bryant Giles, of Southaven, was arrested by the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department on April 21 at the request of the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said the arrest stems from a report made on March 8. According to authorities, Giles built a relationship with a child in Vancleave through social media.
Giles was transported to the Jackson County Adult Detention Center on April 24. During an initial appearance, Judge Mark Watts set Giles’ bail at $250,000 and revoked his prior bond for grand larceny in DeSoto County…
