Driver arrested for homicide, year after crash killed ejected passenger

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman has been charged with vehicular homicide over a year after a passenger was ejected from her vehicle and killed in a crash at Sharpe Avenue and Prescott Road in the Cherokee area.

Heather Renderos, 47, and several others, including a child, were also hurt in the wreck.

Renderos was also charged with driving under the influence, driving with a revoked or suspended license, and without insurance.
