MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two former deputy jailers are now joining the fight to prove a Shelby County death row inmate’s innocence.
WREG Investigators told you how Tony Carruthers is scheduled to be put to death later this month, but the American Civil Liberties Union is trying to stop it.
“There’s a lot of things that the public needs to know,” former Shelby County deputy jailer Earley Story said.
