Suspect shot as agents serve warrant at Frayser Burger King

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Law enforcement shot a person while serving a warrant at a Burger King in Frayser on Wednesday morning, officials confirmed.

Officers with several agencies and the Memphis Fire Department were on the scene in the 2600 block of North Hollywood Street near James Road.

A spokesperson with the Drug Enforcement Agency said their officers were working with the Memphis Safe Task Force to serve a state arrest warrant on a person known to be armed and dangerous, who had a criminal past…
