Video: Police pepper spray protesters at No Kings rally

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Video of a No Kings rally that turned into a conflict between police and protesters was released Monday by Shelby County’s district attorney.

Three people were arrested during a No Kings protest in downtown Memphis back in March, though their charges later were dropped. Four Memphis Police officers were relieved of duty with pay due to an internal investigation, which could wrap up next month.

“Given the high level of public interest, the video should be available for transparency,” District Attorney General Steve Mulroy said Monday. “There are too many hours of footage to review and redact at this time, but we have provided the relevant portion focused on the police use of force.”…
